Cout of Honor We have rescheduled our Court of Honor for Thursday, April 28th. We will be meeting at the City of Lacey Maintenance Administration Building Lunchroom, same place we held the debriefing session. The meeting location is at 1200 College Street SE, Lacey (across from Walgrens). The building is located on the northbound side of College Street (east) between Lacey Blvd and Pacific Avenue. Access to the meeting room is on the College Street side of the building. There is some parking along the College Street frontage and there is more parking off of Lacey Blvd. Driving eastbound on Lacey Blvd (one way street), cross College street, pass Pints & Quarts and Celebrations (was Lew Rents) and the 3rd driveway on the left is the access to City of Lacey Shop Buildings. Pull in and park in any of the numbered spaces, but do not enter the gated area. Be sure not to park in the Pints & Quarts or Celebrations lots or you may be towed.
The meeting room will be open at 6pm, the COH will start at 6:30pm. Michael Brice will be our Master of Ceremonies. Following the COH we will hold a short Troop Meeting to discuss the Camporee in May and the San Juan Bike Trip in July. See below:
Five Mile Hike
We have a five mile hike next weekend. Lots of people coming. Come join the fun. More details here: http://www.troop101-wa.org/rsvpmaker/five-mile-hike/
A change in the Troop Calendar for May – We have canceled the bike outing scheduled for May 21-22. Instead, our Troop will be attending the Spring District Camp-O-Ree May 13-15 at Camp Thunderbird. The theme this time is cooking, see the attached guide.
Please send me an email to let me know if you will attend the Camporee so that I can start a Tour Permit and make reservations.
San Juan Bike Trip
Our Troop plans to bike through the San Juan Islands in July of this year. We need to plan this trip now, especially the route and timing. We need to make camp site reservations now. I’d like to form a core planning group to get this trip organized. Who’s interested?
We need adult leaders too. We need a driver for a support car that can carry our camping/cooking gear (trailer if necessary). Maybe 2 drivers to keep each other company during the day.
If you are going, or can help, please use the RSVP form: http://www.troop101-wa.org/rsvpmaker/san-juan-bike-trip/
