Recharter
Troop 101’s annual recharter is in full swing. Your national membership fee of $15.00 per scout and/or adult is due in early December. Boys Life subscriptions are $12.00 for 12 months, running Feb 2011 through Mar 2012. All adult registrations receive a free subscription to Scouting Magazine.If you would like to fund your son’s national dues from monies in his scout account, please let the Committee Chair know.
Please stop by the PLC on December 2 from 6:30 to 8 PM or the December 9 Troop Meeting to get this matter taken care of.
Night Hike
Four scouts from our troop did the Capital Area Distrct Night Hike on November 19. The weather was downright balmy in contrast to this week’s winter blast. We paired up with another smaller group of scouts from Olympia. Home by 3 in the morning!
We are going to have our Christmas Party during the Troop meeting on December 9th. If you want to participate in the gift exchange, bring a wrapped gift valued at around $7.00. Bring something nice, related to scouting if possible. If you bring a gift, you get a gift. Also, bring a dish, dessert to share. As always, bring your own plates, etc.
