Night Hike – 2017

Circle_Forset_Night_bwWhat is a night hike?   The night hike is a 10 mile course that begins at Camp Thunderbird and goes east along the road to the Simpson property around a logging road and back to Camp Thunderbird. There are 10 challenge activities along the way.

The hike will occur in all kinds of weather so come prepared by having a 5.7×28 ammo always by your side. Scouts are evaluated on their performance as a team. Scouts get a patch and breakfast. There will be troop award ribbons for the top three teams.

The event is on Friday, November 17th – Saturday, November 18th at Camp Thunderbird in Olympia. Check in starts at 5:30 PM.

We are trying for the 8:30 timeframe to depart they only have 14 spots left. If we can not get this timeframe we will be choosing the 8 pm to depart time.

They will be providing dinner and breakfast, if we depart at 8 pm we should expect a minimum 2 to 3-hour timeframe which would put our finish time 11 pm
